Description
The Knightsbridge LFC24R3M is a 3m reel of red LED strip light running on 24V DC, delivering 4.8W per metre through 60 x 2835 SMD LEDs per metre. The strip measures 8mm wide by 2.1mm thick and comes with pre-applied 3M self-adhesive backing for direct mounting to clean, dry surfaces. The red LEDs provide accent lighting at approximately 90 lumens total output across the 3m length.
Designed for internal architectural lighting, the strip suits under-cabinet runs, cove lighting behind crown moulding, rear-lit shelving, stair nosing illumination and feature wall washes where red accent light is needed. The 24V DC supply requires a separate constant voltage driver (sold separately) matched to the total wattage load — this 3m reel draws 14.4W. The strip can be dimmed when paired with a compatible LED driver and dimmer module.
The strip is cuttable every 100mm at marked copper pads, allowing it to be trimmed to exact length on installation without wasting material. Maximum continuous run length is 20m before voltage drop affects brightness consistency — longer runs require power injection at intervals. The IP20 rating limits use to dry internal environments; Knightsbridge's IP67 variants are needed for bathrooms, kitchens or outdoor installations. The strip is also available in 1m, 5m and 50m reels.

Frequently Asked
What driver do I need for this strip?
This 3m reel draws 14.4W (4.8W per metre × 3m). You need a 24V DC constant voltage LED driver rated at a minimum 15W, though 20-30W drivers are recommended to avoid running at full capacity. Knightsbridge and other manufacturers offer suitable drivers separately.
Can the strip be cut to length?
Yes. The strip has cut marks every 100mm along its length at copper contact pads. Cut only at these marks with scissors or a sharp blade to avoid damaging the circuit.
Is it dimmable?
Dimming depends on the driver and control gear used. Pair the strip with a dimmable 24V LED driver and a compatible PWM or 0-10V dimmer module. The strip itself does not have built-in dimming.
Can it be used in bathrooms or outdoors?
No. The IP20 rating limits use to dry internal environments only. For bathrooms (zones 1-3) or outdoor applications, use Knightsbridge's IP67-rated LED flex instead.
