Description
The Knightsbridge LFC24R1M is a 1-metre red LED strip light running on 24V DC, with 60 SMD 2835 LEDs distributed evenly along the 8mm-wide flexible circuit board. The strip consumes 4.8W per metre and outputs 90 lumens of red light, suited to accent lighting, under-cabinet installations, shelving detail, and decorative features where red illumination is needed.
Designed for internal use only with an IP20 rating, the strip adheres to clean, dry surfaces via pre-applied 3M self-adhesive backing. The flexible circuit board allows the strip to follow gentle curves and corners, fitting inside aluminium profiles for recessed or surface-mounted runs. The strip can be cut to length every 100mm at marked intervals, allowing precise fitting to cabinets, alcoves, shelving units and architectural details.
The 24V DC supply requires a separate constant-voltage driver (sold separately), which must be matched to the total wattage of the installed strip length. Dimming is possible when paired with a compatible 24V dimmer or PWM controller. The strip supports runs up to 20 metres when powered correctly, with voltage drop managed by feeding power at both ends on longer installations. The 2.1mm profile sits flush when recessed into aluminium channels.
The red light output suits themed interiors, hospitality feature lighting, retail display shelving, and home cinema or gaming room applications where accent colour is needed without affecting white light sources. The 2835 SMD chip spacing provides even light distribution without visible hotspots when diffused through frosted profile covers.

Frequently Asked
What driver does this strip require?
The strip requires a 24V DC constant-voltage driver. For a 1m length consuming 4.8W, a driver rated at 10W or above provides headroom. Longer runs require higher-wattage drivers matched to total consumption (e.g. 5m = 24W, requiring a 30W+ driver).
Can the strip be cut to a custom length?
Yes. The strip can be cut every 100mm at marked intervals along its length. Cutting outside these points damages the circuit and voids the warranty.
Is it dimmable?
Dimming is possible when the 24V driver is paired with a compatible PWM dimmer or controller. The strip itself does not contain dimming circuitry, so dimming capability depends entirely on the control gear used.
What is the maximum run length?
The maximum continuous run is 20 metres when correctly powered. Runs longer than 5 metres benefit from dual-end power injection to minimise voltage drop and maintain consistent brightness along the full length.
