Description
The Knightsbridge LFC24IPWW is a 24V LED strip light supplied on a 30m reel with IP67 water and dust protection, rated at 3000K warm white and 560 lumens per metre. The strip is built around 64 x 2835 SMD LEDs per metre on a 10mm-wide silicone-encapsulated flexible PCB, drawing 4.8W per metre and delivering 133 lumens per watt efficiency.
Designed for both internal and external installation, the IP67 rating protects the strip against temporary immersion in water up to 1m depth, making it suitable for bathroom zones, outdoor under-eave lighting, garden pathway edging, and commercial washdown environments. The strip ships with 3M self-adhesive tape on the reverse for direct mounting to clean, dry surfaces, and can be installed into aluminium extrusion profiles using the optional FLEXFIX fixing kit. Maximum continuous run length is 20m before voltage drop becomes measurable; longer runs require an additional power injection point.
The strip can be cut to length at 125mm intervals where marked, allowing precise fitting to architectural features, kitchen plinths, shelf edges and display cases. The 24V DC voltage requires a constant-voltage LED driver sized to the total wattage of the installed length (e.g. a 10m run draws 48W and needs a driver rated at 55W minimum to allow headroom). Dimming is supported when paired with a compatible 24V dimmer module or DALI driver. Optional IP-rated end caps (LFCFIX10) seal cut ends to maintain the IP67 rating after installation.

Frequently Asked
What driver does this strip require?
The strip requires a 24V DC constant-voltage LED driver. Calculate total wattage by multiplying the installed length in metres by 4.8W, then add 15% headroom. A 10m run needs a 55W minimum driver; a 20m run needs 110W minimum.
Can the strip be cut to length?
Yes. The strip can be cut at marked intervals every 125mm. After cutting, optional IP-rated end caps (LFCFIX10, sold separately) are needed to seal the cut ends and maintain the IP67 rating.
Is it suitable for outdoor use?
Yes. The IP67 rating protects against rain, dust and temporary immersion up to 1m depth, making it suitable for outdoor under-eave lighting, garden pathways and exterior architectural features. The strip must still be installed where it is not under permanent water exposure.
How is it dimmed?
Dimming requires a compatible 24V dimmer module or DALI driver placed between the mains supply and the 24V LED driver. Standard household wall dimmers are not compatible with low-voltage LED strip systems.
