Description

The Knightsbridge 24V green LED strip light is a 1m flexible circuit board carrying 60 surface-mounted 2835 SMD LEDs, emitting 300 lumens of green light at 4.8W per metre. The 8mm width and 2.1mm projection make it narrow enough to fit inside shallow aluminium profiles, under cabinet lips, or behind cove moulding without visible bulk.

Designed for accent lighting in residential and commercial interiors, the green output suits gaming setups, bar underlighting, architectural detailing, shelving displays and festive or decorative installations where coloured light creates atmosphere. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor environments — kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms, retail displays — where the strip will not be exposed to moisture. The 3M self-adhesive backing fixes the strip to clean, dry surfaces without additional fixings.

The strip runs on 24V DC low voltage and requires a separate constant voltage driver (sold separately). Dimming capability depends on pairing the strip with a compatible dimmer and driver — the LEDs themselves support PWM dimming when the control gear provides it. The strip can be cut to length at 100mm intervals marked along the circuit, allowing custom fitting to alcoves, shelves or cabinet runs. Maximum continuous run is 20m before voltage drop affects brightness.

Does this come with a driver?

No. The strip requires a separate 24V DC constant voltage driver, sold separately. Select a driver with sufficient wattage to match your total strip length — this 1m section draws 4.8W, so a 3m run would need at least a 15W driver with headroom.

Can I cut the strip to fit a shorter length?

Yes. The strip can be cut at 100mm intervals marked along the circuit. Cutting at other points will damage the strip and void the warranty.

Is it dimmable?

Dimming depends on the driver and control gear. The LEDs support PWM dimming when paired with a compatible dimmer module and driver. Contact us if you need help selecting compatible dimming equipment.

Can this be used outdoors or in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the strip is not protected against moisture and must only be used in dry indoor locations. For bathrooms or outdoor use, look for Knightsbridge's IP67-rated LED strip options.
