Description

The Knightsbridge LFC24B5M is a 5-metre reel of 24V DC blue LED strip light with 60 x 2835 SMD LEDs per metre, delivering 95 lumens per metre at 4.8W consumption. The strip runs on a constant-voltage 24V driver (sold separately) and is supplied with 3M self-adhesive tape on the back for direct mounting to clean, dry surfaces.

Designed for internal accent lighting, the strip is IP20 rated and suited to cove lighting, under-cabinet runs, display shelving, and architectural features where a blue wash or highlight is needed. The 8mm width and 2.1mm thickness allow the strip to fit into shallow profiles and tight recesses. The strip can be cut to length every 100mm at marked intervals, allowing precise sizing during installation.

The blue LED output at 95 lumens per metre provides decorative accent rather than task lighting — this is not a high-lumen strip. The maximum continuous run is 20 metres, after which voltage drop becomes significant and a second driver feed is needed. The strip is dimmable when paired with an appropriate 24V dimmer or controller (sold separately). Knightsbridge produces a full range of drivers, controllers, connectors and aluminium profiles to support this strip, all available separately.

What driver do I need?

This strip requires a 24V DC constant-voltage LED driver. For a 5m reel running at 4.8W per metre, the total load is 24W, so a 30W or 40W driver provides headroom. Knightsbridge drivers compatible with this strip are sold separately at Niori.

Can the strip be cut to length?

Yes. The strip can be cut every 100mm at marked intervals along the reel. Cutting between the marks damages the circuit and prevents that section from lighting.

Is it dimmable?

The strip is dimmable when paired with a compatible 24V LED dimmer or controller placed between the driver and the strip. The strip itself has no onboard dimming — dimming capability depends entirely on the control gear used.

Can I run more than 5 metres in one go?

The maximum continuous run from a single feed point is 20 metres. Beyond that, voltage drop causes dimming at the far end and uneven brightness. For runs longer than 20m, inject power from a second driver at the mid-point or far end.
