Description

The ESP 20W LED floodlight is a compact outdoor security light with an integrated 20W LED producing 1600 lumens at 4000K cool white. The white powder-coated metal housing measures 117mm high by 101mm wide (excluding bracket) and carries an IP65 rating for protection against dust and water jets, making it suitable for exterior installation on walls, under eaves and on outbuildings.

Designed for domestic security lighting, driveway illumination, garden feature lighting and commercial building perimeter lighting, the floodlight mounts on a steel bracket that allows the head to be angled after installation. The bracket fixes to a wall or soffit using the included fixings and the light head tilts on the bracket's pivot point to direct the beam where needed. A 1m power cord terminates at the rear of the housing, requiring connection to a suitable outdoor electrical supply via a junction box or weatherproof connector.

The front diffuser uses a textured panel that spreads the LED output into a wide flood beam rather than a narrow spot, reducing glare and providing area coverage rather than focused illumination. The 4000K colour temperature produces a neutral white light that renders colours accurately without the warm yellow cast of 3000K or the clinical blue-white of 6000K. At 20W the floodlight draws approximately 0.087A on 230V mains, consuming around 175kWh per year if run for 24 hours per day.

Does this floodlight have a motion sensor?

No. This is a non-sensor floodlight that runs continuously when powered. It requires connection to a switched supply, a timer or a separate PIR sensor if motion-activated operation is needed.

What is the IP65 rating?

IP65 means the floodlight is dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction. It can be installed outdoors in exposed positions including under eaves, on external walls and on garden structures. It is not submersible.

Can the angle be adjusted after installation?

Yes. The light head tilts on the mounting bracket's pivot point, allowing the beam direction to be adjusted after the bracket is fixed to the wall. The bracket itself is fixed in position during installation.

How is the floodlight wired?

A 1m power cord exits the rear of the housing. This requires connection to a suitable outdoor electrical supply via a weatherproof junction box or IP-rated connector. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
