Description
The ESP 20W LED floodlight delivers 1600 lumens of neutral white 4000K light through a textured polycarbonate diffuser set in a die-cast aluminium black housing. The integrated 20W LED array produces a broad flood beam suitable for lighting driveways, rear gardens, side passages, and building facades. The IP65 rating protects the lamp from dust and water jets, allowing it to be mounted outdoors in exposed positions.
The floodlight mounts on an adjustable bracket that can be fixed to walls, gables, eaves, or ground stakes, with the lamp head rotating through approximately 90 degrees to direct light downwards onto paths, horizontally across walls, or upwards onto building features. A 1-metre mains cable terminates inside the housing, requiring hard-wired connection to a switched circuit or a fused spur. The compact 117mm x 101mm x 24mm body (excluding bracket) fits into tight mounting positions where larger floodlights cannot.
The die-cast aluminium housing dissipates heat efficiently, keeping the LED junction temperature within safe operating limits even during extended use. The black polyester powder-coat finish resists fading under UV exposure and pairs cleanly with black fascias, dark render, and anthracite window frames. The textured diffuser reduces glare and softens the flood pattern, making the light more comfortable in residential contexts than bare-chip floodlights.

Frequently Asked
Does this floodlight have a motion sensor?
No. This model does not include a PIR sensor and operates continuously when the mains circuit is energised. For sensor control, wire the floodlight to a switched circuit or a separately-controlled sensor unit.
What's the difference between 4000K and 3000K?
4000K is neutral white, appearing cooler and brighter than the warm white of 3000K. Neutral white is commonly used for security lighting, driveways and task areas, while warm white suits decorative garden lighting and areas close to warm-toned building materials.
Can it be mounted on a ground spike?
Yes. The adjustable bracket has two fixing holes that can be bolted to a ground spike, a wall bracket, or directly to timber battens or masonry using the supplied fixings.
How is it wired?
The 1-metre mains cable terminates inside the housing. Hard-wired connection to a switched circuit, outdoor junction box or fused spur is required. Installation must be carried out by a competent person in accordance with BS 7671 wiring regulations.
