Description

The Knightsbridge 1W210DA is a 16.5W constant current LED driver delivering 350mA at up to 40V DC output, designed to power LED downlights, panel lights and other constant-current LED fittings. The driver converts 230V 50Hz mains input to stable DC output, maintaining a consistent current across the connected load regardless of small voltage fluctuations or LED forward voltage variation.

Rated for indoor use at IP20 and carrying Class II double-insulation (no earth connection required), the driver fits into ceiling voids, false ceilings and joists in residential, office and retail installations. The polycarbonate housing measures 125mm x 41mm x 29mm, making it small enough to sit inside most downlight back-boxes or behind LED panel frames. The driver is compatible with Knightsbridge UNDKxx downlight fittings and other constant-current LED products requiring 350mA drive current.

The 1W210DA supports trailing-edge (reverse-phase) dimming, which is the preferred dimmer type for LED drivers as it reduces inrush current and electromagnetic interference compared to leading-edge dimmers. This driver requires a trailing-edge (reverse-phase) dimmer. Leading-edge dimmers are not compatible and may cause flicker, buzzing or failure to dim smoothly. Check the dimmer manufacturer's specifications for compatibility with constant-current LED drivers before pairing.

What fittings does this driver power?

The 1W210DA powers constant-current LED fittings rated at 350mA, including Knightsbridge UNDKxx downlights and other LED panels or modules requiring 350mA drive current. It does not suit constant-voltage (12V/24V) LED strip or fittings designed for mains-voltage input.
