Description

The Knightsbridge 10AX 6-gang 2-way switch controls six separate lighting circuits from two locations, behind a polished chrome screwless faceplate made from 201 stainless steel. Each gang is rated at 10AX, handling up to 2,300W per circuit on 230V mains, making it suitable for multi-bulb ceiling lights, chandelier installations and grouped spotlights.

Designed for spaces with complex lighting layouts — living rooms with multiple zones, hallways with entrance and landing control, or commercial spaces needing staged lighting — the six-gang configuration consolidates circuit control into a single wall plate. The 2-way switching allows the same circuits to be controlled from a second switch location elsewhere in the room, typical in through-rooms, staircases and long corridors where lights need to be operated from both ends.

The screwless cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame fixed to the back box, leaving no visible screws or fixings on the wall once installed. The polished chrome finish provides a high-gloss reflective surface that pairs well with contemporary and classical interiors where metallic accents are used. The plate includes a built-in gasket for IP20 rating, and the 16mm minimum back box depth makes it compatible with most standard UK mounting boxes including shallow-depth installations.
