Description

The Knightsbridge 10AX 1-gang intermediate switch in smoked bronze provides the centre switching point in three-way lighting circuits, allowing a single light or group of lights to be controlled from three separate locations. The screwless faceplate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame, leaving no visible fixings on the wall once installed.

Designed for staircases, long hallways and landing circuits where lights need control from three positions, the intermediate switch sits between two 2-way switches at either end of the circuit. The 10AX rating handles lighting loads up to 2,300W on 230V mains, covering most domestic and commercial lighting installations. The switch requires a minimum 16mm back box depth and fits standard UK wiring.

The smoked bronze finish is a dark, warm-toned metal with subtle brown undertones that pairs well with period interiors, industrial schemes and warm contemporary palettes.
