zero-round-ceiling-canopy-brushed-titanium
Zero Round Ceiling Canopy - Brushed Titanium

Description

This is the Zero Round ceiling canopy, a round, flat plate in Brushed Titanium that sits on the ceiling and powers the pendants hung from it. It measures 32.5cm across and only 3.8cm deep, so it reads as a slim disc rather than a bulky box. The canopy gives no light of its own. Inside it is a built-in 100W driver that feeds the pendants at 24V DC, so there is no separate driver to find and fit.

The canopy belongs to the Zero Round range, and its whole job is to carry and power the pendants that hang beneath it, each of them sold separately. Because the driver is built in, so is the dimming: the pendants dim by DALI or push control, which lets you bring the light down for a quiet evening or up for a busy one. A canopy of this size suits a living room, a dining room or a generous hallway, where a single plate on the ceiling keeps the fixing tidy and the pendants hang from one neat point. It is for dry indoor rooms only.

The finish is Brushed Titanium, a soft metallic grey with a fine brushed grain that sits quietly against a white or pale ceiling and pairs well with cool and warm interiors alike. The face of the plate is plain, with small, discreet fixings at the rim and centre, so nothing distracts from the pendants below it. The canopy runs on mains power at 230V and is wired in to the mains by a qualified electrician. As a practical note, check your ceiling before you order: at 32.5cm across, you need a clear, flat circle of ceiling at least that wide where the canopy will sit, away from beams or downlights.

Specification

Finish

Brushed Titanium

Diameter

32.5cm

Height

3.8cm

Dimmable

Yes (DALI or push)

Power

Mains, wired in by an electrician

Driver

Built in, 100W, 24V DC output

Light

None of its own: it powers the pendants hung from it

Voltage

230V

Lead time

Made to order, usually delivered in 4 to 8 weeks

Frequently Asked

Does the Zero Round ceiling canopy give any light of its own?

No. It gives no light of its own.
