yule-stoneware-christmas-decorations-set-of-2-multi
Yule Stoneware Christmas Decorations Set of 2 - Multi

Description

This is a pair of stoneware Christmas trees, each shaped as three tiers that taper to a pointed tip and stand on a small round foot. The smaller tree is 12cm tall and 9cm across; the larger is 14.5cm tall and 11cm across, so they read as a matched couple of different heights rather than identical twins. A garland of fir sprigs runs around every tier, hung with little ornaments: drums, woven hearts, pigs and a horn among them. The overall effect is multicoloured and festive without being loud, and the two trees look their best side by side.

At this size they suit the places where Christmas decorating happens at close quarters: a mantelpiece, a windowsill, a bookshelf, a hall console or the middle of a dining table among candles and greenery. Because their heights differ, they make an easy grouping on their own, and they sit just as comfortably among other pieces in a larger festive arrangement. They are small enough for a desk or a bedside table too, and as a pair they make a thoughtful present for anyone who decorates the house each December. They are freestanding rather than hanging, so give them a flat, level surface.

Both trees are made entirely of stoneware, a dense, hard-wearing ceramic with a pleasing weight to it. The decoration is a decal with handpainted details, so the garlands and their little ornaments are picked out clearly against the multicoloured tiers, and the surface carries a soft sheen that catches the glow of fairy lights. For an easy display, set the taller tree slightly behind and to one side of the shorter one so both garlands show, then scatter a few pine cones or a sprig of real fir around their feet.

Specification

Decoration 1

Height 12cm, Diameter 9cm

Decoration 2

Height 14.5cm, Diameter 11cm

Sold as

Set of 2

Material

100% Stoneware

Colour

Multi

Finish

Decal decoration with handpainted details

Weight

0.74KG

Frequently Asked

What are the Christmas trees made of?

Both trees are made of 100% stoneware, a dense ceramic, and are finished with decal decoration and handpainted details.

How big are the two trees?

The smaller tree is 12cm tall and 9cm across, and the larger tree is 14.5cm tall and 11cm across.

How many trees do I receive?

You receive two trees as a set of 2: one smaller and one larger, so you have a ready-made pair of different heights.

Can I hang them on my Christmas tree?

No. These are freestanding decorations that sit on a small round foot, so they belong on a shelf, mantelpiece, windowsill or table rather than on branches.

Is the garland pattern printed or painted?

The decoration is a decal with handpainted details, which is how the fir garlands and the little drums, hearts and other ornaments are applied.
