The line runs from a heavy base up through a rounded belly, draws in sharply at the shoulder to a tall straight neck, and opens again at the lip. There is no handle; it is taken round the neck or the waist. The colour deepens towards the base, where the glass is thickest.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIt holds 1,150ml, a little over a litre, and at 25cm it stands clear of the glasses on a laid table rather than sitting among them. The neck is narrow enough to slow the pour and the lip turns outward, so the last of it comes away instead of running down the side.
