winter-white-crackle-glass-scented-candle-11-5cm
Winter White Crackle Glass Scented Candle 11.5cm

Description

This scented candle is poured into a gold crackle glass vessel. The outside is covered in a fine web of crackle lines and tiny flecks that catch the light of the flame. It is 12cm across and 11.5cm tall, a generous size with gently rounded sides curving in to a rounded base, and it holds 610g of wax around a single wick. It has a burn time of 80 hours, so this is a candle to light again and again through the winter rather than one to save for a single evening.

The box sets out the scent in a few words: a base of cool cardamom, evergreen at its heart and a lift of bright citrus. It is a fresh, wintry blend, suited to a living room on a dark afternoon, a bedroom in the evening or a hallway where people come in from the cold. The candle comes in an illustrated box printed with fine branches and sprigs, which makes it an easy present to give, and the box is handsome enough to keep once the candle is unpacked.

The wax is a blend of soy and paraffin, and the wick is cotton. The vessel is glass, crackled all over the outside and flecked and reflective inside. In all the candle weighs 1.13KG, which gives it a solid, reassuring feel in the hand and on a shelf. We would set it on a mantelpiece, a sideboard or a bedside table, and keep what is around it simple, such as plain linen and pale wood, so the gold glass is what draws the eye.

Specification

Height

11.5cm

Diameter

12cm

Material

Soy Paraffin, Cotton wick, Glass

Colour

Gold

Weight of wax

610g

Burn time

80 hours

Weight

1.13KG

Safety

Warning: H317 - May cause an allergic skin reaction.
