wheels-on-the-bus-wooden-photo-frame-6-x-4in-red-and-white
Wheels on The Bus Wooden Photo Frame 6 x 4in - Red & White

Description

This wooden photo frame celebrates the nursery favourite about the wheels on the bus, with a bright red border around a white face and a London scene running down one side. Along the top, in friendly blue lettering, it reads "The wheels on the bus go round and round", and beneath it a red double-decker bus marked LONDON carries animal passengers past a clock tower, a black taxi, a smiling rain cloud and a little tree. At the bottom, a row of guardsmen in tall black hats marches behind a rider on horseback. It holds a 6 x 4in photograph upright, in portrait. The frame is nearly square, 20.2cm on its longer side and 2cm deep.

We think it is happiest in a nursery or a little one's bedroom, standing on a chest of drawers, a bookshelf or a windowsill where a favourite photograph can be seen every day. It is a keepsake for babies and toddlers, a lovely way to keep a first smile, a first bus ride or a cuddle with grandparents close at hand. The London scenes and the familiar song make it a cheerful gift for a little one under three. It is a frame for a photograph rather than a toy, so it belongs on a shelf.

The frame is wooden, with a printed face and softly rounded corners. Turn clips on the back hold the backing in place, so changing the photograph takes a moment. A stand on the back lets it stand on its own, so it needs no wall and no fixings. Dust it with a soft dry cloth and keep it away from water. For a thoughtful finishing touch, slip in a photograph of the little one before you wrap it, so it is ready to stand on a shelf the day it is opened.

Specification

Material

Wood

Colour

red & White

Size

20.2 x 18.2cm

Depth

2cm

Weight

0.206kg

Frequently Asked

What size photograph does this frame hold?

It holds a 6 x 4in photograph upright, in portrait, in the opening beside the London bus and the marching guardsmen.

How big is the frame itself?

The frame is nearly square, measuring 20.2cm on its longer side and 2cm deep, so it sits neatly on a shelf or a chest of drawers.

What is the frame made of?

It is a wooden frame with a printed face, a bright red border and a white background behind the London pictures.

How does the frame stand?

A stand on the back lets it stand on its own on a shelf, windowsill or chest of drawers, with no wall or fixings needed.

How do I put a photograph in?

Turn the clips on the back, lift out the backing, lay your 6 x 4in photograph in place, then replace the backing and turn the clips back.

Who is this frame suited to?

It suits babies and toddlers up to three, and makes a cheerful keepsake for a nursery or a little one's bedroom.
