vivaldo-1-clear-glass-32-light-pendant-gold
Vivaldo 1 Clear Glass 32 Light Pendant - Gold

Description

The Vivaldo 1 is a gold pendant light in a starburst form, with dozens of slim steel rods radiating from a central hub and each one tipped with clear brilliant glass. The steel body is gold plated, and the glass catches and scatters light even when the pendant is unlit. It measures 98cm across and is 285cm in overall height, so it suits a generous room. There are 32 G4 lights among the rods, each rated at 1.2W and 100lm, giving a sparkling spread of small points rather than one bright source. It is rated IP20, which settles where it belongs: indoors, in a dry room.

At 98cm across, this pendant suits a space with height and room to spare: a double-height hallway, a stairwell, a large dining room or an open-plan living area with a high ceiling. The gold plating sits happily against deep painted walls, warm wood and stone alike, and the clear glass keeps the look light rather than heavy. For anyone who wants one fitting to give a room its centre of attention, this is a confident choice, and the many small lights make a dining table or a hallway feel lively after dark.

The body is steel with a gold plated finish, and the shade elements are clear brilliant glass. The pendant hangs from a chain beneath a round gold ceiling rose, and it has no switch of its own: it is controlled from the wall switch. It runs at 220-240V, 50/60Hz and carries an energy class of G. As a wired-in mains light, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download. Packed, it weighs 24.5KG, so plan for two people to unbox it.

Specification

Overall Height

285cm

Diameter

98cm

Body Material

Steel

Body Colour

Gold plated

Shade Material

Brilliant glass

Shade Colour

Clear

Light Source

G4 (bulb included)

Wattage

32 x 1.2W

Lumens

100lm per light (32 lights)

Switch

None (switched at the wall)

IP Rating

IP20

Protection Class

Class I

Voltage

220-240V, 50/60Hz

Energy Class

G

Weight (packed)

24.5KG

Downloads

Installation Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

Can the Vivaldo 1 pendant go in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, which means it belongs indoors in a dry room, so keep it out of bathrooms and away from outdoor spaces.

How big is the Vivaldo 1 pendant?

It measures 98cm across and is 285cm in overall height, so it suits rooms with generous ceiling height such as a hallway or stairwell.

What bulbs does the pendant take?

It uses 32 G4 lights, each rated at 1.2W and giving 100lm, spread among the glass-tipped rods for a sparkling effect.

Does the pendant have its own switch?

No, there is no switch on the pendant itself.
