The jute is wound in tight parallel turns across the seat rails rather than woven in a basket pattern, and it dips slightly through the middle where it has been pulled down. The wood is pale and left bare, with the grain and the tool marks still showing and the tenon ends standing proud at the four corners of the seat.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe seat is the top of the stool, so the seat height and the overall height are the same figure: 70cm, which is counter height rather than bar height.
