villja-rocking-rabbit-beige
Villja Rocking Rabbit - Beige

Description

This rocking rabbit is a soft ride-on toy with a polyester body set on curved poplar wood rockers, and a wooden T-shaped handle above the head for small hands to hold. It is 72cm long, 50cm wide and 52cm tall, a floor-standing size that suits a nursery or playroom without taking it over. The face is where the character lives: closed, sleepy stitched eyes, a small smile and a rounded nose. One long ear stands up while the other lies out to the side, a spotted panel wraps the middle like a little jumper, and a fluffy pompom tail finishes the back.

We see it living in a nursery, a playroom or a child's bedroom, where it looks as good standing still as it does in use. The beige body and natural wood grain sit happily alongside neutral interiors, wooden storage and woven baskets, so it never jars with the rest of the room. The rockers are joined by wooden cross bars, and the rocking motion comes from the curve of the runners, so there is nothing to wind up or switch on. It makes a lovely birthday or Christmas present, and between rides it is happy parked in the corner of a room.

The body is polyester and the poplar wood is lacquered, and the whole rocker weighs 4KG, light enough to carry from room to room. The maker gives a maximum load of 60KG. Care is wipe clean, so a damp cloth is the answer to sticky fingerprints and everyday marks rather than the washing machine. The maker's assembly instructions come as a PDF download. For styling, set it on a soft rug beside a low shelf of picture books, and turn the head towards the door so the sleepy face is the first thing anyone sees as they walk in.

Specification

Width

50cm

Length

72cm

Height

52cm

Material

Polyester, Poplar wood

Colour

Beige

Finish

Lacquered

Maximum load

60KG

Recommended age

From 12 months

Washing

Wipe clean

Drying

No

Ironing

No

Weight

4KG

Downloads

Assembly instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

What is the rocking rabbit made of?

The soft body is polyester, and the rockers, frame and handle are poplar wood with a lacquered finish.

How big is it and how much does it weigh?

It is 72cm long, 50cm wide and 52cm tall, and it weighs 4KG, so it is easy to carry between rooms.

What age is it for?

The maker recommends it from 12 months, and the maker's stated maximum load for the rocker is 60KG.

How do I clean it?

The maker's care is wipe clean, so use a damp cloth on the fabric and the wooden parts for everyday marks.
