villanova-1-track-end-cap-black
Villanova 1 Track End Cap - Black

Description

This Villanova 1 track end cap is a small, flat black piece that closes off the open end of a run of Villanova 1 track. It is made of plastic in a plain black colour, with a gently curved outline and two locating pins on the back. It measures 3cm long and 2.2cm high, so it stays discreet at the end of the line. It carries no lamp socket and gives no light itself, and its IP20 rating means it belongs indoors, in a dry room.

It suits anyone fitting or tidying a black Villanova 1 track in a living room, a hallway, a study or a shop display, where the open end of the track would otherwise sit on show. It is an easy part to forget when planning a track, yet a finished run looks noticeably neater once each end is capped. Because it matches a black track, the eye follows the line and stops cleanly where the track finishes.

Plastic does not rust, and the black finish has a fine, slightly textured surface that keeps the cap understated. The two locating pins on the back line it up with the end of the track. It is a small part with one clear job. As a practical note, count the open ends in your layout before you order, because each one needs its own cap.

Specification

Material

Plastic

Colour

Black

IP Rating

IP20

Light Source

without lamp socket

Length

3cm

Width

0.1cm

Height

2.2cm

Operating Voltage

220-240V, 50/60Hz

Frequently Asked

What does the Villanova 1 track end cap do?

It closes off the open end of a run of Villanova 1 track, so the line finishes neatly rather than showing an open end.

Can the end cap go in a bathroom or outdoors?

No. Its IP20 rating means it belongs indoors in a dry room, so keep it away from bathrooms, outdoor walls and anywhere damp.

What size is the end cap?

It measures 3cm long and 2.2cm high, a small, flat piece that stays discreet at the end of the track.

What material is the end cap?

It is made of plastic in a plain black colour, with a fine, slightly textured surface and two locating pins on the back.

Does the end cap give any light?

No. It carries no lamp socket and gives no light itself; it simply finishes the end of a run of track.

How many end caps does a track need?

Each open end of your layout needs its own cap, so count the open ends before you order and choose one cap for each.
