villanova-1-mounting-kit-white
Villanova 1 Mounting Kit - White

Description

This is the Villanova 1 Mounting Kit, a small white plastic part from our Villanova 1 range. It pairs a slotted plate with a squared body and a cross-head fixing screw, and the body has a round opening at its centre. It measures 2cm long, 2cm wide and 1.6cm high and weighs just 0.02KG, so it stays discreet once fitted. There is no lamp socket, and the IP20 rating settles where it belongs: indoors and dry.

It is the sort of part worth having to hand when you are putting up a light, replacing a piece lost during a move, or keeping a spare tucked away for a later project. With an IP20 rating, it belongs in dry rooms such as living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and studies, and never outdoors or near water. The white finish is easy to live with against a pale ceiling or wall, where it blends quietly rather than drawing the eye.

Plastic does not rust, which suits a small part meant to stay put for years. The fixing screw has a cross-head, so an everyday screwdriver from the toolbox will do. The installation instructions come as a download, so read them through first and keep the screw with the bracket until the moment you need it.

Specification

Material

Plastic

Colour

White

IP Rating

IP20

Light Source

without lamp socket

Length

2cm

Width

2cm

Height

1.6cm

Weight

0.02KG

Voltage

uden

Downloads

Installation Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

Can the Villanova 1 Mounting Kit go in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, which means indoors and dry, so we keep it to rooms such as living rooms, bedrooms and hallways.

Does the mounting kit have a lamp socket?

No, it comes without a lamp socket.
