value-e27-4w-globe-bulb-95mm-2700k-470lm-clear
E27 Globe G95 LED Bulb 4W 2700K - Clear

Description

A round LED lamp with a clear finish and a screw cap, drawing 4W and giving a warm white light at 2700K. The globe measures 95mm across, large enough to read as a proper sphere when it hangs on show rather than vanishing inside a shade. Light leaves it all the way round, so there is no dark band above or below the cap. It is not dimmable, so it wants a plain on and off switch rather than a trailing edge dimmer.

We reach for a globe like this wherever the lamp itself is part of the look: a bare flex over a kitchen island, a cluster above a dining table, an open framed pendant in a hallway. The warm tone sits comfortably in living rooms and bedrooms, close to the colour most people expect from an old fashioned household lamp, and it works in table and floor lamps whose shades let some light escape at the top. Where the clear finish will sit at eye level, hang it high enough that the bright core is not staring back at you.

The clear outer keeps a fitting looking open and airy, and the screw cap suits the E27 lampholders used on most of the pendants and lamp bases we sell. Dust shows on a globe far more than on a small candle lamp, so switch off, let it cool, then run a dry cloth over the surface now and then. Nothing wet, and nothing abrasive on the finish. It carries a five year warranty. Where you are filling a fitting that takes several lamps, keep every globe the same size so the run of light stays even and no single lamp draws the eye.

Specification

Colour

Clear

Weight

0.06KG

Diameter

95mm

Height

130mm

Materials Used

Glass, Metal

Lamp Cap

E27

Colour Temperature

2700K Warm White (±5%)

Number of Switching Cycles

100000

Conventional Lamp Equiv.

40W (±5%)

Shape of Lamp

Globe G95

Type of LED

Filament

Beam Angle

360°

System Flux

470lm (±5%)

Ta

-20° to +40°C

Total Power Consumption

4W (±5%)

Input Voltage

220-240V~50/60Hz

Dimmable

No

Average Life

15000hrs

Warranty

5yrs

UKCA/CE

Yes

Country of Origin

China

Frequently Asked

How much light does it give?

It produces 470 lumens, spread evenly in all directions from the clear globe.

Can I use it on a dimmer?

No. This one is non-dimmable and should be run from a standard switch.
