valmora-led-flush-ceiling-light-chrome
Valmora LED Flush Ceiling Light - Chrome

Description

The Valmora is a flush LED ceiling light in chrome, with four slim, gently curved bars that cross in pairs over a square chrome base. The body is aluminium and each bar has a white plastic shade, so the integrated LEDs show as soft lines of light rather than bright points. It is 56cm long, 56cm wide and 10.5cm high, so it keeps close to the ceiling while spreading wide. There are four lights of 5.2W each, every one giving 700 lumens at 3000K, a warm white. The IP20 rating settles where it goes: indoors and dry, so a living room, bedroom or hallway, never a bathroom or porch.

Because it sits close to the ceiling, we suggest the Valmora for rooms where a pendant would hang too low, such as a bedroom with a modest ceiling height, a landing or a kitchen-diner. The criss-cross bars spread their glow across the ceiling rather than throwing it down from one point, so the whole room feels softly lit. At 56cm across each way it sits well in the middle of a living room or main bedroom, where the chrome catches the light and the white bars keep the glow gentle. It suits anyone who wants a modern ceiling light with real presence.

The LEDs are integrated, so there are no bulbs to buy or change. The light is not dimmable and has no switch of its own, as it is switched at the wall. It has an energy class of E and weighs 1.336KG packed. As a mains fitting wired into the ceiling, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions are available as a download. A soft, dry cloth keeps the chrome and the white bars free of dust. Before you order, measure the space: at 56cm wide and 56cm long, it needs a clear stretch of ceiling away from beams.

Specification

Length

56cm

Width

56cm

Height

10.5cm

Body Material

Aluminium

Body Colour

Chrome

Shade Material

Plastic

Shade Colour

White

Light Source

LED, integrated

Wattage

4 x 5.2W

Lumens

700lm per light (4 lights)

Colour Temperature

3000K

Dimmable

No

Switch

None (switched at the wall)

IP Rating

IP20

Protection Class

Class I

Voltage

220-240V, 50/60Hz

Energy Class

E

Weight (packed)

1.336KG

Downloads

Installation Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

Can the Valmora go in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, which means it is for dry indoor rooms only, so we suggest a living room, bedroom, hallway or landing instead.

Is the Valmora dimmable?

No, this light is not dimmable.
