vallaspra-glass-linear-pendant-light-champagne
Vallaspra Glass Linear Pendant Light - Champagne

Description

The Vallaspra is a linear pendant light that sets four white globes of matt opal glass inside an open rectangular frame of champagne-finish steel. It measures 91cm long, 16.5cm wide and 110cm high overall, and it hangs from a slim rectangular ceiling bar, so the frame reads as a light outline in the room rather than a solid block. Each globe takes an E14 bulb of up to 40W, and the bulbs are not included, which leaves the colour and brightness of the light to you. It is rated IP20, which settles where it goes: indoors, in a dry room.

A long, narrow pendant like this is made for a dining table, where the four globes spread light along the length of the table instead of pooling it in the centre. It suits a kitchen island just as well. The champagne finish is a soft, warm metallic tone that sits comfortably beside pale wood and quiet neutral colours, and because opal glass diffuses light, nobody seated at the table looks straight into a bare bulb. If you want a single fitting that covers a whole table rather than a row of separate pendants, this is the simpler choice.

The frame and ceiling bar are steel in a champagne finish, and the globes are white matt opal glass. There is no switch on the pendant itself: it is switched at the wall, and it runs on 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains. As a wired-in mains light, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download. It weighs 4.756KG packed. Before you buy bulbs, check they are E14 and no more than 40W each, and measure your table to be sure the 91cm length leaves a comfortable margin at each end.

Specification

Length

91cm

Width

16.5cm

Overall Height

110cm

Body Material

Steel

Body Colour

Champagne

Shade Material

Matte-opal glass

Shade Colour

White

Light Source

E14 (bulb not included)

Wattage

Max 4 x 40W

Switch

None (switched at the wall)

IP Rating

IP20

Protection Class

Class I

Voltage

220-240V, 50/60Hz

Weight (packed)

4.756KG

Downloads

Installation Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

Can the Vallaspra pendant hang in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, which means it is meant for indoor rooms that stay dry, such as a dining room, living room or kitchen, and it should not go near water.

Which bulbs does the pendant take?

It takes four E14 bulbs of up to 40W each.
