Inside is an integrated LED of 6.5W giving 587 lumens at 2700K, a warm white, with a CRI of 90, so there is never a bulb to buy or change and colours under it look true.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eWe see it first in the bedroom, where its low, warm light sits well beside the bed for reading a few pages before sleep, and in the living room, on a side table, a sideboard or a bookcase, where the copper underside glows softly against a wall. The shade casts its light downward, so it lights the surface it stands on rather than the whole room, which makes it a good companion to a ceiling light rather than a replacement.
