The wood is left its natural pale colour with the grain running the length of it. A brass collar and a black lampholder finish the top. It is 45cm tall and 14cm across the foot.

This is a base only: no shade and no bulb. At 45cm before a shade goes on it is tall, which suits a console, a sideboard or a side table beside a chair rather than a bedside table. It weighs 0.9kg. It takes one E27 bulb up to 40W, the cord runs 2.5m, and it is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms.

The wood is mango, turned by hand. The trees are grown for fruit first and cut for timber only once they have stopped bearing. The Usha range also holds a floor lamp base. Neither a shade nor a bulb is included.

Specification

Height

45cm

Diameter

14cm

Material

Mango Wood

Colour

Natural

Recommended bulb

E27

Max watt

40W

Cord length

2.5m

Plug type

UK Adaptor

IP Rating

IP20

Weight

0.9kg

Downloads

Instruction Manual (PDF)

Frequently Asked

Does it come with a shade?

No. It is the base only, with a brass collar and a black lampholder on top.
