The arms sit at slightly different heights and angles, so the five lamps form a shallow open spray rather than a flat ring. The lamps are the whole of the ornament: there are no shades anywhere on the fitting and each holder is a plain turned cup. The brass is a warm aged tone with a soft sheen.
