It has drainage holes and comes with a removable plug, so it drains outside and can be stood indoors with the plug in. It weighs 4kg empty. Storing it away or inside over the winter months will make it last longer.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe planters are made in Vietnam by coiling: rolls of clay laid one on another and then smoothed by hand into the final shape, a method handed down through generations of local makers.
