two-squirrels-piggyback-fur-textured-resin-figurine-gold
Two Squirrels Piggyback Fur Textured Resin Figurine - Gold

Description

This gold resin figurine shows two squirrels, the smaller one riding piggyback on the shoulders of the larger, which reaches up to hold it steady. Every surface is worked with fine fur texture, from the plump bodies and tiny paws to the two big plumed tails that curl up behind them. The whole piece is finished in a shiny metallic gold that catches the light as you pass by. It is made from polystone, a resin that holds sculpted detail well, and it stands 20cm tall, 8cm wide and 9cm deep.

Its compact size makes it an easy fit for a bookshelf, a mantelpiece, a windowsill or a side table, and the narrow base slips between books or beside a lamp without crowding the surface. The bright gold works as a warm accent against white, grey or deep painted walls, and the squirrels bring a little woodland charm to a living room, hallway, study or bedroom. Seen from the front, the two faces look straight out at you, while from the side the sweeping tails give the piece its shape, so it looks good wherever it is turned. It suits a shelf of favourite things just as well as a dressing table or a desk.

As a freestanding figurine it needs no fixing or hanging and simply sits where you place it. The gold is a metallic effect finish over the resin, giving the look of gilt metal. To keep the gold looking bright, dust it with a soft dry cloth and, when needed, wipe it with a barely damp cloth and dry it straight away; avoid polish and abrasive cleaners, which can dull a metallic finish. Set it beside a stack of books or a trailing plant, or wrap it up as a cheerful little gift.

Specification

Material

Polystone

Colour

Gold

Finish

Metallic

Height

20cm

Width

8cm

Depth

9cm

Weight

0.371kg

Frequently Asked

How big is the squirrel figurine?

It stands 20cm tall, 8cm wide and 9cm deep, a compact size that sits easily on a shelf, mantelpiece, windowsill or side table.

What is the figurine made from?

It is made from polystone, a resin that holds fine sculpted detail well, which is why the fur texture on both squirrels is so crisp.

Is the gold real metal?

No, the gold is a metallic effect finish over the resin.
