trophy-star-stoneware-cups-150ml-set-of-2-multi
Trophy Star Stoneware Cups 150ml Set of 2 - Multi

Description

These two stoneware cups are shaped like a winner's trophy, each with a handle on either side, a deep rounded bowl and a short footed base. On the front of each sits a large star bearing No. 1, edged with a border of small dots, and the foot is marked with fine vertical stripes. The two cups are decorated differently from one another, so the pair is multicoloured rather than matching, which makes it easy to tell whose cup is whose. Each holds 150ml, a small cup sized for a child's drink rather than a full mug, and measures 12.5cm long, 7.5cm wide and 10cm tall. They are made from 100% stoneware, a dense clay fired hard, so each feels solid in the hand.

They belong at the kitchen or dining table, for milk in the morning or juice and water at teatime. We think the trophy shape makes them a natural choice for a birthday tea, the end of a sports day or any small win worth marking, and the pair makes a cheerful present for a child who has earned a little praise. With a handle on each side, a cup can be held in both hands, a form that suits small hands still finding their grip. Because there are two, they suit a pair of siblings, or a child and a visiting friend sharing a party table.

The care is simple once you know the limits. These cups are not dishwasher safe, so wash them by hand, and they are not microwave safe or oven safe, so warm any drink separately rather than heating it in the cup. The listed weight is 0.98KG. Between meals the trophy shape earns its place on a nursery or kitchen shelf, and the two look best stood side by side with their stars facing outward, a pair of small prizes on show.

Specification

Width

7.5cm

Length

12.5cm

Height

10cm

Sold as

Set of 2

Material

100% Stoneware

Colour

Multi

Capacity

150ml

Dishwasher safe

No

Microwave safe

No

Oven safe

No

Food safe

Yes

Weight

0.98KG

Frequently Asked

How much does each cup hold?

Each cup holds 150ml, which makes it a small cup for a child's milk, juice or water rather than a full mug.

Can the cups go in the dishwasher?

No. They are not dishwasher safe, so wash them by hand.
