trenvette-flush-ceiling-light-white
Trenvette Flush Ceiling Light - White

Description

The Trenvette is a white flush ceiling light that sits close to the ceiling, 31.5cm across and just 10cm tall. A round dish of satin glass carries a soft grey pattern of scrolls and leaves, held to a white steel base by small clips around the rim. Behind the glass sits a single E27 lamp holder that takes a bulb of up to 25W. The bulb is not included, so you can choose the warmth of light that suits the room. It is rated IP20, which means it is made for dry rooms indoors, so it belongs in bedrooms, hallways and living spaces rather than a bathroom or anywhere outdoors.

Because it hugs the ceiling, this fitting suits any room where headroom is tight, such as a landing, a cottage bedroom or a hallway with a low ceiling. The satin glass diffuses the light and hides the bulb, giving the room a gentle, even glow instead of glare. The scrolling pattern adds a traditional touch to a plain white ceiling without looking fussy, and it sits as comfortably in a study or a dining room. If you want a tidier alternative to a bare bulb or a dated shade, it is a sensible choice.

The body is steel finished in white, and there is no switch on the fitting itself, so your wall switch controls it. It runs on 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains and, as a wired-in light, should be installed by a qualified electrician; the installation instructions come as a download. The glass shade comes away from the base, which gives easy access to the lamp holder whenever a bulb needs changing. Glass wipes clean with a soft cloth, which keeps the grey pattern looking crisp. Packed, it weighs 1.153KG, so the parcel is easy to manage. Have an E27 bulb of 25W or less ready, as the box holds no lamp.

Specification

Height

10cm

Diameter

31.5cm

Body Material

Steel

Body Colour

White

Shade Material

Satin glass

Shade Colour

White with decoration

Light Source

E27 (bulb not included)

Wattage

Max 25W

Switch

None (switched at the wall)

IP Rating

IP20

Protection Class

Class I

Voltage

220-240V, 50/60Hz

Weight (packed)

1.153KG

Downloads

Installation Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

Can the Trenvette go in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, which means it is meant for dry rooms indoors, so keep it away from bathrooms, wet areas and anywhere outdoors.

What bulb does this ceiling light take?

It takes a single E27 bulb up to a maximum of 25W.
