timarne-2-light-flush-ceiling-light-13w-black-rustic-brown
Timarne 2 Light Flush Ceiling Light 13W - Black & Rustic Brown

Description

The Timarne is a flush LED ceiling light that sets a long wooden bar with a rustic brown grain against a slim black backplate, crossed by interlocking square frames in black. A white plastic diffuser lines the inside edge of each frame, so the light comes from the frames themselves rather than a bare bulb. It measures 78cm long, 40.5cm wide and 9cm high, and the integrated LEDs draw 13W to give 1,750 lumens of warm white light at 3000K. With an IP20 rating it belongs indoors in a dry room, so it suits living spaces and bedrooms rather than a bathroom.

Because it sits close to the ceiling, the Timarne is a good choice for rooms where a pendant would hang too low, such as a living room, a dining room, a bedroom or a hallway. The long bar gives it a clear line, so it looks right running along a dining table or down the length of a narrow room. The pairing of black with rustic brown wood sits happily alongside natural timber, leather and warm, earthy colours, and it brings a little warmth to a modern scheme. At 1,750 lumens it is bright enough to work as the main light rather than an accent.

The body combines steel and wood, with a white plastic diffuser over the LEDs, and because the LEDs are integrated, there is no bulb to buy or replace. It is not dimmable and has no switch of its own, so it is controlled from the wall switch in the room. It runs on 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains and, being a wired mains light, it is installed by a qualified electrician. The packed weight is 2.564KG, and the installation instructions come as a download. Before you order, measure your ceiling so the 78cm length sits where you want the light.

Specification

Length

78cm

Width

40.5cm

Height

9cm

Body Material

Steel, wood

Body Colour

Black, brown rustic

Shade Material

Plastic

Shade Colour

White

Light Source

LED, integrated

Wattage

13W

Lumens

1,750lm

Colour Temperature

3000K

Dimmable

No

Switch

None (switched at the wall)

IP Rating

IP20

Protection Class

Class II

Voltage

220-240V, 50/60Hz

Energy Class

E

Weight (packed)

2.564KG

Downloads

Installation Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

Can this ceiling light go in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, which means it is meant for dry indoor rooms only, so we would keep it to living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways.

Is the Timarne dimmable?

No, the integrated LEDs are not dimmable.
