thepalm-led-12-light-chandelier-satin-nickel
ThePalm LED Chandelier - Satin Nickel

Description

ThePalm is an LED chandelier in a satin nickel finish, made from iron and acrylic. Curved tubular arms sweep down and out from a fluted central stem before turning upwards, and each arm ends in a white cylindrical diffuser. The light source is integrated LED, so there are no bulbs to buy or change, and the light is a warm 2700K with a CRI of 80+. We offer it in three versions: 12 lights, 18 lights and 30 lights. The 12-light chandelier is 56cm tall and 75cm across, with a drop of 250cm, and gives 1889lm from 22.9W. The 18-light chandelier is 75cm tall and 107cm across, with a drop of 250cm, and gives 2833lm from 34.34W. The 30-light chandelier is 76cm tall and 115cm across, with a drop of 200cm, and gives 4723lm from 57.24W.

It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. The maker states it is for indoor use only. The 12-light version sits well over a dining table or in the centre of a living room or bedroom with a reasonable ceiling height. The 18-light and 30-light versions, at 107cm and 115cm across, are made for bigger spaces: a large entrance hall, a double-height stairwell or an open-plan living and dining room. It suits anyone who likes the idea of a chandelier but wants clean, curving lines rather than crystal drops, and it looks at home in modern and more traditional rooms alike.

ThePalm was designed by Cristian Cubiñá. It is not dimmable, so it runs from a standard switch rather than a dimmer, and it carries energy class E. As a mains fitting, it is for a qualified electrician to install. The satin nickel finish has a soft sheen rather than a mirror shine. Pair it with pale oak, grey linen or white plaster, and let the curving arms be the one ornament in the room.

Specification

Colour

Nickel

Finish

Satin Nickel

Height

56cm (12 Lights), 75cm (18 Lights) & 76cm (30 Lights)

Diameter

75cm (12 Lights), 107cm (18 Lights) & 115cm (30 Lights)

Drop

250cm (12 Lights), 250cm (18 Lights) & 200cm (30 Lights)

Light Source

Integrated LED

LED Power

22.9W (12 Lights), 34.34W (18 Lights) & 57.24W (30 Lights)

Luminous Flux

1889lm (12 Lights), 2833lm (18 Lights) & 4723lm (30 Lights)

Colour Temperature

2700K

CRI

80+

Dimmable

No

IP Rating

IP20

Energy Class

E

Downloads

Assembly Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

How many lights does ThePalm chandelier have?

It comes in three versions, with 12 lights, 18 lights or 30 lights, and each light sits at the end of its own curved arm.

How big is each version of ThePalm chandelier?

The 12-light is 56cm tall and 75cm across, the 18-light is 75cm tall and 107cm across, and the 30-light is 76cm tall and 115cm across.

Does ThePalm chandelier need bulbs?

No. The light source is integrated LED, giving a warm 2700K light with a CRI of 80+, so there are no bulbs to buy.

Can I dim ThePalm chandelier?

No. ThePalm is not dimmable, so it runs from a standard switch rather than a dimmer, at full brightness.

Is ThePalm chandelier suitable for damp rooms?

No. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, such as a dining room, living room, hallway or bedroom.

How bright is ThePalm chandelier?

The 12-light gives 1889lm from 22.9W, the 18-light gives 2833lm from 34.34W, and the 30-light gives 4723lm from 57.24W.
