the-man-the-myth-the-legend-square-slate-coaster-black
The Man The Myth The Legend Square Slate Coaster - Black

Description

This square slate coaster brings a little good-humoured swagger to the table, with grey engraved lettering set against its black face. The main words read 'The Man, The Myth, The Legend' in bold vintage-style capitals, framed by curling scrollwork, with two smaller lines of praise beneath and a banner across the foot reading 'One of a Kind'. It measures 10cm square and 1cm thick, so there is room for a mug, a tumbler or a short glass to sit squarely on it, and the slate keeps its rough, natural-looking edges for a rugged, characterful look.

It earns its place wherever a drink gets put down: beside the armchair in the living room, on a desk in the study, on a bedside table or along the bar at home. Because the wording does all the talking, it makes an easy, ready-made gift for someone whose friends and family already call them a legend, and it brings a smile each time a cup of tea or an evening drink lands on it. The dark slate sits well with wood, leather and metal, so it looks at home in a traditional room or a more modern one.

The grey engraved lettering contrasts clearly with the dark stone, and the flat face gives a steady base for a glass or mug. To keep it looking its best, wipe it with a soft damp cloth and let it dry fully before putting it away, and dust it now and then with a dry cloth. We think it works best kept where it will be used every day, on the desk or by the favourite chair, rather than tucked in a drawer. For a gift, wrap it with a favourite mug, a bag of good coffee or a bottle of something to share, and its message will do the rest.

Specification

Colour

Black

Size

10 x 10cm

Depth

1cm

Weight

0.122kg

Frequently Asked

How big is the slate coaster?

It is 10cm square and 1cm thick, which gives a mug, a tumbler or a short glass plenty of room to sit flat.

What does the coaster say?

The face reads The Man, The Myth, The Legend in large lettering, with two smaller lines of praise and a One of a Kind banner beneath, all framed by scrollwork.

What colour is the coaster?

The slate is black, with the lettering and scrollwork engraved in a soft grey that stands out clearly against the dark stone.

What are the edges like?

The coaster is square with rough, natural-looking slate edges, which give it a rugged look rather than a smooth, polished one.

How do I clean a slate coaster?

Wipe it with a soft damp cloth and let it dry fully, then dust it now and then with a dry cloth to keep it looking fresh.

Does it make a good gift?

Yes, the wording makes it a ready-made, good-humoured gift, and it wraps easily alongside a favourite mug, a bag of good coffee or a bottle to share.
