the-art-of-tarot-wooden-hanging-wall-plaque-white-and-black
The Art of Tarot Wooden Hanging Wall Plaque - White & Black

Description

This wooden hanging wall plaque brings a touch of mystery to a room, printed in black on a white ground. Across the top it reads "THE ART OF TAROT", with "REVEAL YOUR FORTUNE" curving over an all-seeing eye set inside a triangle, a crescent moon and two suns at its corners. Below, a pair of open hands rises towards the eye, and "THE CARDS DO NOT LIE" runs along the foot, all scattered with small stars and sparkles. The plaque has softly scalloped, arched ends and a thin black line tracing its border, so it reads like an old fortune teller's sign. It measures 23.5cm across and 0.6cm deep.

It suits a home where tarot cards, crystals and candles already live. Hang it above a shelf, a side table or a dressing table, beside a reading corner, or on a bedroom or living room wall, where the printed words are sure to start a conversation. The black and white palette sits happily with natural wood, dark metal and stone, and the fine line drawing keeps it looking more vintage print than novelty. We like it as a gentle, mysterious note in a room all year round, and as a gift it is ready to go straight on the wall.

The plaque is made of wood with the design printed on its face, and a black loop is attached at the top, ready to hang from a hook or nail. At 0.6cm deep it hangs flat and close to the wall. To keep the print crisp, dust it with a soft dry cloth and keep it away from damp. Hang it at eye level so the words can be read, and set a few candles on a shelf beneath for a corner with real atmosphere, never leaving a burning candle unattended.

Specification

Material

Wood

Colour

White & Black

Width

23.5cm

Depth

0.6cm

Weight

0.351kg

Frequently Asked

How big is the tarot wall plaque?

It measures 23.5cm across and 0.6cm deep, a slim wooden plaque that hangs flat against the wall.

What is the plaque made of?

It is made of wood, with the tarot design printed in black on a white face.

How does the plaque hang?

A black loop is attached at the top, so it hangs from a single hook or nail without any extra fixings.

What words are printed on the plaque?

It reads THE ART OF TAROT, REVEAL YOUR FORTUNE and THE CARDS DO NOT LIE, around an all-seeing eye in a triangle.

What colour is the plaque?

It is white with black print, a simple two-colour palette that sits well with wood, dark metal, stone and candlelight.

How should I look after the plaque?

Dust it gently with a soft dry cloth and keep it away from damp so the wood and the printed design stay crisp.
