textured-metal-taper-candle-holder-with-angel-wings-silver
Textured Metal Taper Candle Holder with Angel Wings - Silver

Description

This metal candle holder with angel wings brings a quiet, wintry sparkle to the Christmas table. A slim stem rises from a round base to a pair of softly curved wings, set just below a polished collar, with a tapered cup at the top made to hold a single taper or dinner candle. The whole piece is finished in silver. The base and stem have a textured, hammered look that catches candlelight, while the wings and cup carry a finer, satin texture. It comes in two sizes, 25cm and 35cm, so you can choose the one that suits your space.

We think it looks its best where people gather on dark winter evenings: down the centre of the dining table, along a mantelpiece or on a sideboard in the hall. The angel wings give it a gentle Christmas feel without relying on bright colour, so it sits happily alongside white candles, silver baubles and fresh greenery, and suits a contemporary room as well as a more traditional one. With a crisp white candle in place it makes a calm centrepiece for Christmas dinner. It is also a thoughtful Christmas gift, one that will come out year after year.

Made from metal with a broad, flat base, it stands freely on any level surface and needs no fixings. To keep it looking its best, dust it with a soft dry cloth and lift away any dripped wax once it has cooled. Avoid abrasive cleaners, which can dull the finish. As with any candle, keep it away from curtains and anything that might catch, and never leave a burning candle unattended. For a festive gift, wrap it with a few sprigs of eucalyptus and a white taper so it is ready to light the moment it is unwrapped.

Specification

Material

Metal

Colour

Silver

Sizes

25cm, 35cm

Occasion

Christmas

Frequently Asked

What sizes does this angel wing candle holder come in?

It comes in two sizes, 25cm and 35cm, so you can pick the one that best suits your table, mantelpiece or sideboard.

What kind of candle does it hold?

The tapered cup at the top is made for a single taper or dinner candle, the classic slim candle for a dining table.

What is it made of and what colour is it?

It is made from metal in silver.
