The wood is left in its natural tone, with the splits, the tool marks and the changes of colour it carried.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAt 40cm high it is a low table that stands beside a chair rather than in front of a sofa. The top is 36cm across and flat, so it takes a tray as readily as a cup.
