tacito-cable-deflector-satin-nickel
Tacito Cable Deflector - Satin Nickel

Description

The Tacito cable deflector is a small steel part in a satin nickel finish, made to guide a light's cable through a change of direction so it runs on a neat line. It is a slim brushed cylinder 5cm tall and 1.6cm in diameter, standing on a wider flanged base, with an angled opening cut into one side, a white insert at the top and a small black grub screw. It has no lamp socket and gives no light of its own, so think of it as a component rather than a light.

We stock it for anyone working on a light who wants the cable to turn cleanly at the point where it changes course, without a loose loop or a sharp kink. The satin nickel finish has a soft brushed sheen rather than a mirror shine, so it sits comfortably beside other satin nickel and brushed metal finishes. At 0.03KG it adds next to no weight to the fitting it serves.

The body is steel, and steel is strong and rigid, which suits a part this small that has to keep a cable on its line. A black grub screw on the side holds the deflector in position. The installation instructions come as a PDF download, so you can read how it fits together before you start. Check the 5cm height and 1.6cm diameter against your fitting before ordering, so you know it suits.

Specification

Body Material

Steel

Body Colour

Satin Nickel

Light Source

without lamp socket

Height

5cm

Diameter

1.6cm

Weight

0.03KG

Downloads

Installation Instructions (PDF)

Frequently Asked

What does a cable deflector do?

It guides a light's cable through a change of direction, so the cable runs on a neat line rather than bending at an awkward angle.

How big is the Tacito cable deflector?

It is 5cm tall and 1.6cm in diameter, with a wider flanged base, and it weighs 0.03KG, so it is a very small and light part.

Which material is the body?

The body is steel with a satin nickel finish, which has a soft brushed sheen rather than a bright polished shine.

Does it have a lamp socket?

No. It comes without a lamp socket and gives no light of its own, because it is a cable accessory rather than a light.

Are there installation instructions?

Yes, the installation instructions come as a PDF download, so you can read how the deflector fits together before you begin.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0729/8993/3835/files/tacito-cable-deflector-satin-nickel.jpg?v=1792461585
