sunita-striped-glass-christmas-baubles-set-of-2-green
Sunita Striped Glass Christmas Baubles Set of 2 - Green

Description

These glass Christmas decorations come as a set of two, and each is a round bauble 8cm across, finished in green. What makes them is the pattern: broad stripes sweep around each ball in a wave, with soft, textured bands in a deeper green alternating with smooth bands in a paler green, and a fine line of glitter tracing the edge of each stripe. At 8cm across they are a comfortable middle size for a bauble, large enough to hold their own on a full family tree and still in proportion on a smaller one.

The Christmas tree is the obvious home: each bauble has a metallic cap with a fine hanging thread already tied on, so it loops straight over a branch. Because they come as a matching pair, they also work wherever two pieces look deliberate rather than random: one at either end of a mantelpiece garland, both on an indoor wreath, or hung from a bare branch in a vase on the hall table. They suit anyone building a tree around green, and they are a good way to add pattern among plainer baubles. A pair also makes a small, easy gift for a host or a neighbour at Christmas.

Each decoration is made of glass and iron, with a spray-coloured finish carrying the two shades of green. The weight is given as 0.02KG. Glass is hard and smooth and reflects light, so the smooth bands carry a gentle sheen beside the softer textured ones, and the glitter lines catch the light from the tree. We like them hung a little way into the branches rather than right at the tips, so the fairy lights glow behind them, and grouped with plain baubles in a similar green so the stripes are what the eye finds first.

Specification

Diameter

8cm

Sold as

Set of 2

Material

Glass, Iron

Colour

Green

Finish

Spraycolor

Weight

0.02KG

Frequently Asked

How big are these baubles?

Each bauble is 8cm across, a comfortable middle size that sits well on a full family tree and still looks in proportion on a smaller one.

How many decorations do I get?

You get two matching decorations, sold together as a set of two, and each one has its own hanging thread already tied on.

What are they made of?

They are made of glass and iron, with a spray-coloured finish in two shades of green and fine glitter lines running along the stripes.

Can I hang them straight on the tree?

Yes.
