spruce-stripes-cotton-reversible-duvet-cover-set-oat
Spruce Stripes Cotton Reversible Duvet Cover Set - Oat

Description

The Spruce Stripes duvet cover set is made from 100% brushed cotton, and that is the detail to lead with. Brushing lifts a soft nap on the surface of the cotton, so the cloth feels warm against the skin the moment you get in rather than needing a few minutes to take the chill off. The face shows a linear festive design of green Christmas trees standing between vertical pink and green stripes on a soft oat ground, and the whole thing is reversible: flip it over and you get the striped pattern on its own, without the trees. Two looks in one set, which is a genuinely useful thing for a design this seasonal. It comes in Single, Double, King and Super King, so you can match it to the bed you have.

This is a Christmas set first and foremost, and the tree pattern makes that plain, but the striped reverse gives it a second life. Turn it to the stripe side and it reads as a simple pink and green ticking that carries on happily through the colder months once the decorations have come down. It suits a warm, relaxed bedroom rather than a stark one, and it sits well with natural wood, rattan and the sort of muted pinks and greens you can see in the styling here. Layer a plain throw over the foot of the bed and you have a room that feels ready for the season without going over the top.

The cover fastens with buttons along the opening, which hold the duvet in place and are quick to do up and undo at a wash. Being pure cotton, it takes a warm machine wash and tumble dry without fuss, and the brushed finish means it comes off the line soft. The single includes one pillowcase; the double, king and super king each include two. If you want to complete the look, the striped reverse gives you an easy steer for coordinating cushions and throws.

Specification

Material

100% brushed cotton

Design

Printed Christmas tree and stripe, reversible to stripe

Construction

Button fastening opening

Size

Single to super king

Included

Single, one pillowcase; double, king and super king, two pillowcases

Frequently Asked

Is the duvet cover really reversible?

Yes.
