sounds-gay-im-in-hanging-wooden-plaque-black-and-orange
Sounds Gay, I'm In Hanging Wooden Plaque - Black & Orange

Description

This wooden hanging plaque carries its slogan in bold, chunky capitals: SOUNDS GAY, I'M IN. The lettering is a bright pink with a cream drop shadow, set across a vivid orange face, and the whole panel sits inside a black frame with a thin gold-toned inner edge. It is a slim rectangle, 22cm wide, 6cm high and 2cm deep, so it reads clearly from across a room without taking over a wall. A blue ribbon loop is fixed to the back at both top corners for hanging, and the back is plain orange with black edges.

We think it suits anywhere that could use a little humour: a hallway wall where guests catch it as they arrive, beside a bedroom mirror, above a drinks trolley or over a sofa. The punchy orange and pink stand out well against deep blues, greens and dark painted walls, and the black frame gives it a crisp outline against paler ones too. Its modest size makes it easy to group with prints and other small signs, or to hang alone on a narrow strip of wall by a door. However you place it, it brings a grin to the room without any fuss.

The plaque is made from wood, with the slogan printed across the face and the frame finished in black. Hanging it is simple: the ribbon loop slips over a single nail or picture hook, and at 22cm wide it needs very little space. To keep it looking its best, dust it now and then with a soft dry cloth and keep it away from damp and steam, as is good practice for any printed wooden piece. It arrives ready to hang, which makes it an easy gift to wrap, and one that is likely to be up on the wall before the paper is in the bin.

Specification

Material

Wood

Colour

Black & Orange

Height

6cm

Width

22cm

Depth

2cm

Weight

0.092kg

Frequently Asked

How big is the plaque?

It measures 22cm wide, 6cm high and 2cm deep, a slim rectangle that fits a narrow stretch of wall by a door or above a light switch.

What is the plaque made from?

The plaque is wooden, with pink and cream lettering on an orange face, framed in black with a thin gold-toned inner edge.

How does the plaque hang?

A blue ribbon loop is fixed to the back at both top corners, so it hangs neatly from a single nail or picture hook.

What does the plaque say?

It reads SOUNDS GAY, I'M IN in bold pink capitals with a cream shadow, a playful line that is easy to read from across a room.

How should I look after it?

Dust it gently with a soft dry cloth now and then, and keep it away from damp and steam, as is good practice for any printed wooden piece.
