A bright yellow glazed porcelain lampholder, the body a rounded cylinder that swells slightly at the shoulder and steps in at the base where the two halves meet. The glaze is deep and glossy and picks up a long highlight down the side, which is what separates it from a moulded plastic holder. A polished chrome cone threads into the top and carries the flex. There is nothing else on the body, no switch and no shade ring.
