small-hedgehog-tree-stump-resin-money-box-natural-and-brown
Small Hedgehog Tree Stump Resin Money Box - Natural & Brown

Description

This small hedgehog money box is made from resin and shows a cheerful hedgehog peeping over the top of a tree stump, front paws resting on the cut wood. The stump has a natural finish, with deep bark texture running down its sides and growth rings spreading across the top, where the coin slot sits within easy reach. Behind the face, the hedgehog's rounded coat is picked out in rows of brown spines, each one moulded and shaded so the piece looks just as good from the back as it does from the front. It measures 8.5cm high, 14cm wide and 14cm deep, a compact size that settles on a shelf without taking it over.

We think it makes a lovely gift for new parents, a little keepsake to sit on a shelf in the baby's room, ready for the first coins put aside by family and friends. It suits a bookcase, a chest of drawers or a windowsill just as well, and the woodland look fits easily alongside soft furnishings, pale wood and natural tones. It is a decorative money box for grown-ups to keep and fill, rather than something to play with, so it is best placed on a shelf out of small hands' reach.

The whole piece is made from resin, which holds the fine detail of the bark, the rings and every spine, and small feet underneath lift it just clear of the surface. To keep it looking its best, dust it with a soft dry cloth and, if needed, wipe it with a slightly damp cloth, then dry it straight away. For a thoughtful gift for new parents, tuck a card alongside and drop the first coin through the slot before you wrap it.

Specification

Material

Resin

Colour

Natural & Brown

Height

8.5cm

Width

14cm

Depth

14cm

Weight

0.255kg

Occasion

New Parents

Frequently Asked

How big is the hedgehog money box?

It measures 8.5cm high, 14cm wide and 14cm deep.
