sitting-squirrel-resin-tealight-candle-holder-gold
Sitting Squirrel Resin Tealight Candle Holder - Gold

Description

This squirrel tealight candle holder sits up on its haunches and lifts a small round cup high above its head in both paws, ready for a single tealight. It is made from resin, also known as polystone, and finished all over in a shiny gold that picks out every detail: the brushed lines of its fur, the sweep of its bushy tail curling up behind, its rounded ears, bright eyes and neat little feet. The cup is covered in raised, rounded bumps, rather like the cap of an acorn, which suits a squirrel. It stands 12cm tall, 5.5cm wide and 8.5cm deep, a compact size that fits easily on a narrow ledge.

Its small footprint makes it easy to find a home for. We like it on a mantelpiece, a bookshelf or an indoor windowsill, at the centre of a dining table, or on a side table where candlelight makes a quiet evening feel cosier. The gold finish catches the glow of the flame and throws a soft gleam across the textured fur, and even unlit it is a cheerful little ornament in its own right. Anyone who loves woodland animals, or simply enjoys a touch of gold around the home, will find something to smile at here.

The squirrel and its cup form one piece, so all it needs is a flat, level surface and a tealight dropped into the cup. Dust it with a soft dry cloth, or wipe it gently with a damp cloth and dry it straight away; harsh cleaners and scouring pads are best kept away from the gold finish. As with any candle, never leave a burning tealight unattended, keep it clear of curtains and anything that might catch, and let it go out fully before you move the holder. For a small present that feels thoughtful, this little gold squirrel wraps up neatly and brings a glow to whoever opens it.

Specification

Material

Polystone

Colour

Gold

Height

12cm

Width

5.5cm

Depth

8.5cm

Weight

0.231kg

Frequently Asked

How big is the squirrel candle holder?

It stands 12cm tall, 5.5cm wide and 8.5cm deep.
