sitting-squirrel-glossy-ceramic-ornament-23-3cm-white
Sitting Squirrel Glossy Ceramic Ornament 23.3cm - White

Description

This ceramic squirrel ornament sits upright with its tail curled high behind it, a simple, softly rounded take on a woodland favourite. The figure is smoothed down to its essentials: a neat round head with two pricked ears, a plump body and one long sweep of tail rising above it. A glossy white finish covers the squirrel and catches the light, while a matt band of sandy beige runs around the base and gives it a warm, earthy footing. It stands 23.3cm tall, 16.6cm deep and 8.7cm wide, so it has real presence on a shelf without crowding it.

Because it is all white apart from that one warm band, it settles happily into most rooms. Set it on a mantelpiece, a bookcase or a side table in the living room, give it a place on a hallway console, or let it keep watch from a bedroom chest of drawers. At just 8.7cm wide it fits on a slim shelf or a deep windowsill, and its clean outline works as well in a pared-back modern scheme as in a cottage-style room full of wood and texture. It sits comfortably among autumn arrangements, too, yet looks just as at home through the rest of the year.

Made from ceramic with a smooth, glossy finish over the body and tail, the squirrel stands freely on its own base, so it needs no fixings and no wall space. To keep it looking its best, dust it with a soft dry cloth and, when it needs more, wipe it gently with a damp cloth and dry it straight away. Choose a spot where it will not easily be knocked. For a quietly charming arrangement, pair it with a trailing plant or a few favourite books, or wrap it as a thoughtful gift for anyone who loves a little woodland character at home.

Specification

Material

Ceramic

Colour

White

Height

23.3cm

Width

8.7cm

Depth

16.6cm

Weight

0.574kg

Frequently Asked

How big is the squirrel ornament?

It stands 23.3cm tall, measures 16.6cm deep and is 8.7cm wide, so it sits well on a mantelpiece, bookcase or side table.

What is the squirrel ornament made of?

The squirrel is made from ceramic, with a glossy white finish over the body and tail and a matt sandy beige band around the base.

Does it need fixing to a wall or hanging?

No, it is a freestanding ornament that sits on its own base on any flat surface, so there is nothing to fix or hang.

What colour is the ceramic squirrel?

It is white all over with a glossy finish, apart from a soft sandy beige band that runs around the base of the figure.

How should I clean it?

Dust it regularly with a soft dry cloth, and if it needs a little more, wipe it gently with a damp cloth and dry it straight away.

Would it make a good gift?

Yes, its simple woodland shape and calm white finish make it an easy gift for anyone who enjoys animal ornaments and neutral, uncluttered rooms.
