sierra-plain-shaggy-rug-grey
Sierra Plain Shaggy Rug - Grey

Description

The Sierra is a plain grey shaggy rug, machine made in polypropylene with a soft, textured pile. There is no pattern to work around: just one even shade of grey across the whole rectangle, with the loose, tousled surface of a true shaggy catching a gentle play of light and shade as the pile moves. It is a simple, quiet piece that brings warmth and softness to a floor without asking anything of the rest of the room.

It is made for the living room, where a plain grey sits happily with wooden floors, pale walls and most sofa colours. It comes in four sizes. The 80 by 150cm suits a spot beside a bed or in front of a chair, the 120 by 170cm sits in front of a sofa or under a coffee table, and the 160 by 220cm and 200 by 290cm are large enough to go under a sofa's front legs and anchor a whole seating area.

Its features settle the main questions quickly. Shaggy means a loose, tousled surface rather than a flat weave, soft means it is comfortable to sit or stretch out on, and the textured pile gives the plain grey interest so it never looks flat. Before you order, we suggest measuring the space and marking it out with tape or newspaper: that is the surest way to pick between the four sizes.

Usually dispatched within 3 to 5 working days.

Specification

Design

Sierra

Colour

Grey

Sizes

80 x 150 cm, 120 x 170 cm, 160 x 220 cm, 200 x 290 cm

Material

Polypropylene

Construction

Machine made

Pile

Shaggy, textured

Suitable for

Living room

Dispatch

Usually dispatched within 3 to 5 working days

Frequently Asked

What sizes does the Sierra grey shaggy rug come in?

It comes in four rectangular sizes: 80 by 150cm, 120 by 170cm, 160 by 220cm and 200 by 290cm, from a small bedside rug to a large living room rug.

What is the Sierra shaggy rug made of?

It is machine made in polypropylene, a synthetic fibre, and finished with a shaggy, textured pile across the whole surface.

How does this grey shaggy rug feel underfoot?

It is soft.
