One panel is hinged as a door and closes on a small round catch set halfway up that side. The top is a flat plate with a raised square chimney above it, and a thin wire handle arches over that. Inside, a flat metal tray sits just above the base plate and carries the candle.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAt 76.5cm this stands on the floor rather than on a table. The three sizes stand together well, this one the tallest of them. A hearth, the corner of a hall or either side of a doorway all take it at that height. The glass runs the full height of each side, so a candle burning low inside stays visible from across the room instead of dropping behind a rim. The metal is soldered around the glass with traditional tools, and because that is done by hand there are weld marks along the joins of every piece.
