sheep-wool-cotton-door-stop-white
Sheep Wool Cotton Door Stop - White

Description

This is a weighted door stop shaped as a sheep, with a soft, curly shearling-look body and a plain woven face, ears and feet in a subtle herringbone pattern. The body fabric is a sherpa polyester pile; the face and feet fabric is a polyester-rich blend that carries a small amount of wool and cotton. It sits low and rounded, with the head lifted and the eyes stitched closed in a calm, sleepy expression, so it reads as a friendly object rather than a plain wedge.

A door stop like this earns its place anywhere a door swings shut on its own: a nursery or child's bedroom, a hallway that catches a draught, a living room or kitchen where you want the door held open while you carry things through. Because it is filled with sand as well as polyester, it has real weight for its size and stays put on carpet or a hard floor. It suits a soft, neutral scheme and works well beside natural textures such as a wicker basket or a wool throw, where its cream tone settles in rather than shouting.

The head, ears and feet are made from the herringbone-patterned fabric, while the curly fleece covers the head and body. Polyester holds its shape and shrugs off everyday knocks, which is what you want from something that spends its life being nudged by a door. The supplier gives no washing guidance for this piece, so we do not offer any; treat it as a decorative weighted accessory. If you like animal-shaped pieces with a plain, calm face, it is an easy one to live with day to day.

Specification

Material

Body 100% Sherpa Polyester; face, ears and feet 65% Polyester, 18% Acrylic, 7% Wool, 4% Viscose, 4% Polyamide, 2% Cotton

Design

Sheep with sleepy stitched face; herringbone-patterned face, ears and feet

Construction

Shearling-look fleece body; filled with polyester and sand for weight

Sold as

Single door stop

Frequently Asked

What is inside the sheep door stop?

It is filled with a mix of sand and polyester, so it has genuine weight for its size and holds a door steadily against a draught.

Will it hold a door open on carpet?

Yes.
