sheep-love-ewe-wooden-hanging-plaque-with-cord-brown
Sheep "Love Ewe" Wooden Hanging Plaque with Cord - Brown

Description

This wooden hanging plaque carries a fluffy cartoon sheep and the words "love ewe", a gentle farmyard pun that reads as "love you" with a smile. The sheep is drawn in soft sketchy lines with a cloud of cream and blush wool, a grey-brown face, wide round eyes and spindly legs mid skip. It is set on a cream front panel with a faint wood grain. A rectangular brown wooden frame runs around the edge as a raised border, so the print sits slightly back like a little shadow box. It measures 21cm high, 19cm wide and 2cm deep, a compact size that suits a small gap on the wall.

It brings a light, cheerful note to a kitchen, hallway, landing, cloakroom or a cosy corner of the living room, and it sits happily alongside country-style or farmhouse decor. Because the wording is a play on "love you", it also makes a sweet small gift tucked in with a card, a simple way to say something warm without saying too much. Its size means it fits on a narrow strip of wall beside a door frame, above a light switch, or among a cluster of other small frames and prints.

The plaque hangs from a twisted cord fixed at the two top corners of the back. It needs only a single picture hook or nail, with the cord forming a neat triangle above the frame. The back is a plain brown board, finished neatly to the edges. To keep it looking its best, dust it now and then with a soft dry cloth and keep it away from damp and strong direct sun, which is good practice for any printed wooden piece. For a playful farmhouse look, hang it on its own on a painted wall, or set a woven basket or a jug of dried grasses on a shelf beneath it.

Specification

Material

Wood

Colour

Brown

Height

21cm

Width

19cm

Depth

2cm

Weight

0.221kg

Frequently Asked

How big is the sheep plaque?

It measures 21cm high, 19cm wide and 2cm deep, so it suits a small stretch of wall or a spot among other little frames.

How does the plaque hang?

It comes with a twisted cord fixed to the top corners of the back, so a single picture hook or nail is all you need to hang it.

What is the plaque made of?

The plaque is wood.
