set-of-6-christmas-oval-paper-plate-32-x-26-5cm-cream-and-green
Set of 6 Christmas Oval Paper Plate 32 x 26.5cm - Cream & Green

Description

This oval paper plate carries a little forest of Christmas trees across a soft cream centre, with "Merry Christmas" written above them in flowing gold script. The trees are drawn in several styles, from feathery pines and slender firs to simple triangles with leaf veins, in deep green, pale sage, gold and fine black line, scattered with small stars. A dark green rim runs all the way round, and just inside it a thin band of gold foil catches the light. The gold is hot-stamped, so the lettering, the band and the gold trees have a true metallic shine rather than a flat printed yellow. It measures 32cm across at its longest and 26.5cm the other way, and is 4cm deep.

With its greeting printed right across it, this is a plate for Christmas. The oval shape suits a buffet table, where it can work as a small platter for party food. It is just as much at home as a roomy plate for a Christmas Eve supper, a festive drinks evening or the office Christmas party. The cream and green palette sits happily alongside traditional red and gold decorations or a more natural scheme of greenery and pine cones, so it suits most festive tables.

The plate is made from paper, with the gold detail hot-stamped onto the surface and a deep green rim pressed into fine pleats for a neat, finished edge. As with any paper tableware, keep it dry and store it flat until the day, since damp air can soften the paper and bend the rim. For a coordinated table, lay it on a plain cream or green cloth, add a sprig of real fir or eucalyptus alongside, and let the gold lettering do the rest. It is an easy way to make a Christmas spread look considered without bringing out the best china.

Specification

Colour

Cream & Green

Size

32 x 26.5cm

Depth

4cm

Weight

0.138kg

Occasion

Christmas

Frequently Asked

How big is this paper plate?

It measures 32cm across at its longest and 26.5cm the other way, and it is 4cm deep, so there is plenty of room for a helping of party food.

What is the plate made from?

It is made from paper.
