set-of-6-christmas-hot-stamped-square-paper-plates-21cm-green
Set of 6 Christmas Hot-Stamped Square Paper Plates 21cm - Green

Description

This square paper plate brings a bright flash of gold to the Christmas table, with the word CHRISTMAS hot-stamped in gold foil across its centre. The letters sit in three neat rows on a deep forest green ground, and a small green Christmas tree topped with a gold star stands in the bottom row between the M and the S. Fine gold foil lines cross the wide rim in little groups near each corner, giving the plate a tailored, plaid-like border. It measures 21cm across on each side and 1.5cm deep, which leaves room for a mince pie and a couple of biscuits without crowding.

We like it for the moments when the whole family gathers and the good china can stay in the cupboard: a Christmas Eve buffet, a festive drinks party, an office get-together or a Boxing Day spread of leftovers. The square shape lines up neatly along a long table, and the green and gold sit happily beside cream linen, red napkins and gold cutlery. It also makes a cheerful base for a few homemade truffles or a slice of Christmas cake handed round after dinner.

The plate is made from paper, with its rim pressed up and folded at each corner to form a shallow square well that keeps crumbs where they belong. The gold lettering and lines are hot-stamped foil, so they catch the light from candles and fairy lights across the table. As with any paper tableware, keep it dry and store it flat until the day, so the rim holds its crisp shape. For a finished look, lay it on a dark green or white cloth, add a sprig of holly or a small pine cone beside it, and let the gold pick up the shine of your crackers and glassware.

Specification

Colour

Green

Size

21 x 21cm

Depth

1.5cm

Weight

0.001kg

Occasion

Christmas

Frequently Asked

How big is this Christmas paper plate?

It measures 21cm across on each side and 1.5cm deep.
